Eagles at the double

North West Eagles edged a hard-fought, season-long contest with FC Real Wrenthorpe to secure the Division Three Championship by a whisker. Just 1 point separated the teams as the curtain came down on a classic campaign with both clubs securing promotion to Division Two.

In the Division Three Cup, Eagles booked their place in the final after a fabulous 6-0 victory over Vine Tree in the semi.
Man-of-the-match Lewis Rowland and Jack Kamara found the net as the Eagles registered a 2-1 win over Real Carleton to complete a memorable double.

The Eagles will be changing their name to HD Sports for the 2010/11 season and cannot be ruled out as a contender for back-to-back promotions.
